Service · Fiduciary Advisory
Historymeadowz's fiduciary advisory service gives principals a rigorous second perspective on significant financial decisions — without a product to sell.

Most financial advice is shaped by the adviser's commercial relationship with a product or institution. Ours is not.
Fiduciary advisory — advice given in the client's sole interest, with no commission, referral fee, or product attachment — is rare in most markets and genuinely scarce in Kenya's coastal corridor. Historymeadowz operates on a fee-only basis for all advisory mandates: we are paid by the client, and our recommendations are shaped exclusively by what we assess to be in the client's long-term preservation interest. Our advisory service is designed for principals who face significant, infrequent financial decisions — the sale of a business, the acquisition of a major asset, an inheritance event, a capital call from a private equity fund — and who want a prepared, experienced voice in the room that is not trying to transact. Engagements range from a single-session diagnostic to a retained quarterly counsel arrangement.
High-stakes, low-frequency decisions where the quality of counsel determines the outcome.
When a business is sold or transferred, the capital released requires immediate structural decisions — how it is held, what instruments it moves into, and how it is protected against the counterparty risk of the transaction itself. We advise at every stage.
Receiving a significant inheritance — property, liquid capital, or a business interest — without an immediate preservation framework risks rapid erosion through poor structure, excessive spending, or predatory advice. We provide a clear assessment and recommended action sequence.
Large property purchases, private equity commitments, or significant business investments all carry structural implications for the client's overall capital position. We assess the acquisition in the context of the client's existing framework before commitment.
For clients who prefer an ongoing relationship, our quarterly advisory retainer provides a regular structured review of the capital position, emerging risks, and any decisions under consideration — a disciplined cadence that prevents reactive decision-making.
Scope clarity is a prerequisite of any honest advisory relationship.
Historymeadowz's fiduciary advisory service does not include discretionary portfolio management, tax filing or compliance work, legal representation, or insurance brokerage. We are advisers — we produce analysis, present options, and counsel on decision criteria. The decisions themselves, and their execution, remain with the client and their relevant professional specialists. We will coordinate with lawyers, accountants, and fund managers where the client's situation requires it, but we do not substitute for those roles. Clients who need a single firm to manage and execute across all financial disciplines should expect a candid conversation about whether our model is the right fit for their requirements.
“I received an offer to sell my majority stake in a regional logistics business in late 2023. Historymeadowz sat with me through three rounds of term negotiation, identified a structural risk in the escrow arrangement that my lawyers had not flagged, and helped me decide what to do with the proceeds before the transaction closed. That counsel paid for itself many times over.”
